I saw your product, SteppLadder climbing system in the BOWHUNTER magazine, new products issue. I checked out your website, had to get one. I ordered and received the run n' gun package. As soon as it arrived I had to try it. Awesome, great product and well thought out. 

Over the years I have tried all kinds of climbing devices, from screw-ins, rope steps and some of my own inventions. But the SteppLadder system is by far the best. Most of my hunting is on public land and screw-ins are prohibited. As far as my own inventions, let's just say, I didn't break anything. 

What I like about the SteppLadder design. 
Cam action:
This cam action locks the Stepp to the tree and makes it very easy to reposition or remove. 

Loop:
Once you get the hang of it, easy to do. I like that the loop tightens against the metal part of the rung and not the rope itself. When pressure is removed the loop can be easily undone. 

SteppLadder rung:
Being able to place both feet on one rung, no balancing acts. 

Carry Bag:
Something so simple as a bag is well thought out. Having a picture of the loop on the bag is great. The positioning of the leather strips inside the bag prevents holes. 

One last thing, I see that you are a veteran.
