Wild Edge Sling Line
The Wild Edge Sling Line is the ultimate safety anchor for any climbing saddle.
The Sling Line has a large loop tied on each end of the climbing rope using a figure 8 on a bight. The Blake’s Hitch (Prusik Sling) friction knot is tied on the rope so you can adjust the length of the Sling Line.
A screw locking carabiner is clipped into the Blake’s Hitch for safe connection to your saddle belt. The carabiner end of the rope with the Blake’s Hitch is passed through the loop once it wrapped around the trunk of a tree. The second loop can also be attached to the carabiner for added safety and to be used as a handle when adjusting the length of the Sling Line with the Blake’s Hitch.
The Sling Line is available in 7 ft and 12 ft lengths with all knots tied. The 7 ft Sling Line works for trees 18” in diameter or less. The 12 ft Line works for trees with a diameter greater than 18” or if you want to wrap the strap twice around the tree.
